Terms of use
Plain terms for a free set of tools. This is a draft for the development build and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Using the tools
The tools are free to use, for personal or commercial work, with no account and no usage limit. You keep every right you already had in the files you process; nothing here claims any interest in them.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without any warranty. File conversion is not risk-free: results depend on your browser, your device’s available memory and the particular file you supply. Always keep your original files. Do not rely on any output here as the only copy of something that matters.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from use of the site — including lost or damaged files, or decisions made on the basis of a converted document.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to process material you have no right to process, and do not attempt to disrupt it for others. Because everything runs on your own device, what you convert is your responsibility.
Open-source components
The tools are built on third-party open-source libraries, each under its own licence. Those licences are listed in the project’s README and apply to their respective components.
Changes
These terms may change as the site develops. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
Development note: this is placeholder wording for local testing. Have it reviewed properly, and add the governing jurisdiction, before the site is published.
